We started Outland Club to give kids real time outside: setting up camp, gathering wood, stirring the pot. No gear obsession, no perfect trips. Just a simple belief that kids who help cook dinner over a fire remember it for the rest of their lives.

Outland Club started as a record of our trips: old diners, farm stands, foraging on dirt roads, and dinner over a wood fire. The best part was always the cooking. My son found his favorite place in the tent and his favorite job at the camp stove.
Everything we share here is something we've actually done together, mistakes included.
